ePLANHOLDER SUCKS!

Potential and current ePlanholder customers:

I’m glad that you found this site, and I’m sure you’ll feel the same way after reading this.

Beware of ePLANHOLDER.com! I am a web developer who was contracted by this company to complete the initial-release of their product CDS Planroom. The major red flag that I overlooked came up in the beginning of our relationship when they explained how they had gone through several developers who had all done them wrong before reaching me. I turned out to be no exception.

Development of the CDS Planroom commenced, and things went well for several months. As we reached the initial-release date, the problems began. First, ePLANHOLDER started getting late on their payments to me. I was working on their product on an hourly-basis and expected weekly payments. They were late the first time, and I gave them an extra week of slack to get their payment in to me. Big mistake. They took this inch and turned it into a mile. Payments were coming in later and later.

It was then that I was informed by ePlanholder that they were funding this project with payments they received from CDS Planroom sales. The sales could not realistically come in until the product was finished; I was working on project with no guarantee of pay! Worse, ePlanholder demanded that I continue developing CDS Planroom at full-speed regardless of their failure to pay their bills on time.

Finally, the product was just about ready for an initial-release. ePLANHOLDER and I agreed at the very beginning that the initial-release was to be a “quick-and-dirty” version with minimal functionality and not fully debugged. We would release patches for the product after the initial-release to solve any problems that appeared. Suddenly, ePLANHOLDER switched gears and demanded a flawless product. I was accused of fraud when the product did not work in a picture-perfect way. They refused to pay the remaining charges, stole the code I wrote for them, and stiffed me all the way around!

These guys are con men. Avoid their products and services. If they’re willing to abuse their employees and contractors, no doubt they’ll do the same to their customers.

ePlanholder owners:

Pay the remaining charge on your account of US$4,450.00, and this site will come down.
